    The Regenerative Landscape & Gardening Course teaches students the fundamentals of regenerative landscaping: the basics of soil health, permaculture practices, biodiversity, and more. With a hands-on approach, the students learn to apply regenerative techniques and principles to landscaping while charting paths to implementation in their own contexts.     Through this course students will learn what compost is, what it is useful for, and how to produce and measure compost. It focuses on training individuals to create and manage compost piles, then cover various practices around application.   • INTRO TO BIOCHAR
    Through the intro to biochar course, students will learn what biochar is, how to safely create and implement biochar, and more. It focuses on training individuals, hands-on, to manage and implement biochar processes in various environments, from household- to industrial-scale, with the aim of developing industry-valued skills and proficiencies.   • The Vermiculture Practices Course teaches students the practice of Vermiculture with an emphasis on vermicompost for waste management, soil remediation, and agricultural application. The course focuses on hands-on measuring and managing of worm farms of various types, and the practices of applying vermicompost. The course emphasizes skills that are industry-valued and emphasizes business and job opportunities. This results in the Vermiculture Practices Certificate.

  • The Fungi-Based Bioremediation Course gives students a practical understanding of how to use fungi in bioremediation efforts. With a foundation in mycology and theoretical learning, the hands-on course provides students with the skills to apply and measure mycological tools for soil health and remediation. It emphasizes industry-valued skills and business and job opportunities. This results in the Fungi-Based Bioremediation Certificate.

  • The Ecosystem & Habitat Restoration Certificate focuses on the principles and practices of healthy ecosystems: biodiversity, soil carbon capture, and more. Through a hands-on approach, students learn the principles of ecosystems and habitats and how to support them. This course emphasizes industry-valued skills and business and job opportunities, and results in the Ecosystem & Habitat Restoration Certificate.

    Through this course, students will learn the fundamentals of inventory control, warehousing, and logistics. The course covers practical concepts and applications including stock handling, storage systems, shipping and receiving procedures, and inventory tracking technologies. Students will gain experience with commonly used industry equipment while developing an understanding of safety, security, confidentiality procedures, operations, and proper merchandise handling.
