Our Sewing Loft is dedicated to empowering our community members through the art of sewing. It seeks to be a vibrant hub for innovation, collaboration, and self-expression; cultivating technical skills and fostering boundless creativity.
At the heart of our Sewing Loft lies a commitment to skill-building and technical proficiency. Through comprehensive training, we empower people to not only create new materials but also develop a strong foundation of technical skills that can be applied in various industries and career paths.
With sustainable sewing initiatives we aim to embrace eco-consciousness, encourage sustainable sewing practices, such as upcycling old garments, and to repurpose fabrics to reduce waste and promote environmental stewardship.
To realize the full potential of our Sewing Loft and expand its offerings, we seek partners and collaborators, as well as funders. Your contributions will enable us to invest in modern sewing equipment, diverse fabric selections, and sewing supplies, ensuring that our Sewing Loft remains an inviting space for all to explore and create.
We seek to collaborate with local organizations, schools and other nonprofits to host sewing outreach programs that introduce sewing as an empowering activity that is useful in a variety of occupations.
Where we are now
