Sewing Loft
Our Sewing Loft is dedicated to empowering our community members through the art of sewing. It seeks to be a vibrant hub for community collaboration and self-expression, cultivating technical skills that roll up to job opportunities with nature-positive outcomes.
To make this happen we need interested community members like you to pursue these amazing interests with us! Join our community and work on behalf of your community.
There are 2 main ways to stay engaged:
Email List: We’ll keep you posted on what’s going on.
Guild: A little more hands on, a lot like a club!

Our Program
At the heart of our Sewing Loft lies a commitment to skill-building and technical proficiency. Through comprehensive training, we empower people to not only create new materials but also develop a strong foundation of technical skills that can be applied in various industries and career paths.
We seek to collaborate with local organizations, schools and other nonprofits to host sewing outreach programs that introduce sewing as an empowering activity that is useful in a variety of occupations.
With sustainable sewing initiatives we aim to embrace eco-consciousness, encourage sustainable sewing practices, such as upcycling old garments, and to repurpose fabrics to reduce waste and promote environmental stewardship.
