Workforce & Training

This unique program sits at the core of REAP’s aspirations: contribute to equity-driven systems change through workforce development into nature-positive jobs. REAP aims to create paths for this work through certifications, apprenticeships, internships, and long-term employment.

Practice and Curriculum Categories

  • Intertwining livestock, agriculture, permaculture, and composting for sustainable urban practices and environmental restoration.

  • We support nature-based processes and biodiversity through biomimicry and ecosystem support.

  • We seek to empower individuals by providing immersive experiences and hands-on training with tools towards certification and job readiness.

  • We support the emerging need of a prepared climate change workforce to face the daily challenges forming from this issue.

We want to make a difference.

REAP’s workforce development plan is a template for completing this work at a local level that can be expanded to a county, state, federal, and global scale.

It all starts with collaboration

We are collaborating with partner organizations to develop pathways to emerging and established credentials in climate job training.
