Fab Lab

Makerspace

The purpose of our Fab Lab is to create a place to play, create, mentor, and invent. It provides access to the environment, the skills, the materials, and advanced technology to allow people to make nearly anything.

As the Fab Lab becomes a hub for both training and employment services, our organization can work on expanding technical support and purchase more advanced equipment!

In a climate context, it is vital to provide training and experiences to create solutions for biodiversity, renewable energy, carbon capture, and more!

As our business model grows, we will utilize our partnerships with Pacific Coast Community Services and the State of California Department of Rehabilitation as a resource for our hiring needs while developing an inclusive work environment!

It is vital to provide training and experiences to create solutions for biodiversity, renewable energy, carbon capture, and more. Partnerships with local businesses and industry organizations have been developed that have allowed The REAP Climate Center and Pacific Coast Community Services to gain knowledge and relationships, which will create a pipeline to high-paying jobs for disabled individuals.

Our Fab Lab programming and training are designed to support people with a wide range of disabilities. Operating and staffing this program will create employment opportunities within our organization for disabled job seekers through our partnership with Pacific Coast Community Services (PCCS)!

The Fab Lab will offer internships and paid work experience opportunities while providing training and technical assistance for job seekers and community members. Training and work experience in the Fab Lab will increase employability for individuals with all types of disabilities. Partnerships have been developed with local businesses and industry organizations to create a pipeline to high-paying jobs for disabled individuals.

Additionally, the skills obtained from our Fab Lab training and resources will facilitate access to various vocations and industries, including manufacturing, industrial technology, arts, biodiversity, and environmental fields!
